I'm selling a set of Swell dinnerware on Ebay. It has a kind of retro look to it. Check it out if you're interested.

Hi, I joined some time ago but have yet to post. I've been collecting for years at estate sales and auctions. I love me some old people stuff and nothing is more exciting to me then looking thru boxes at estate sales and auctions. And on occassion I've been known to be a dumpster diver and garbage picker. I am currently on the look out for a coffee table for my living room.

A few pics below of various places in my house!

I just ran across this site, they are doing repro of the brightly colored metal patio furniture from the 50's. Cute stuff! Perhaps a little out of my budget at the moment, but if it's good quality, it's probably well worth it.

Check it out at Candy Bouncer.

Hehe...anyone here hose down their living room on a regular basis? I know I fantasize about it being that easy! :D

But I couldn't do that now, I'd wreck my tree. It's red metallic, and my parents bought me a color wheel!

Here she is in all her glory:Collapse )

Mom and I found some mod-ish ornaments at JoAnn's Etc this past weekend which adorn her, including a very Jetson-y silver and red star that I've fashioned into the tree topper. I wish I could get better photos, but I am still getting to know how to use my digital camera in anything other than point and shoot mode. :) Once I get into my loft next year, I will get a full size silver tree, but since I'm about to put my place up for sale, I am sticking with the smaller one for now.

What are y'all doing for your Christmas decor this year?
